The platform currently hosts a mix of older and newer content. We're updating everything as quickly as possible, but it’s a community effort powered by volunteers – so thank you for your patience!
Below, we share the resources that we have available for the latest version of the workshop (also work that's still in progress) so you can facilitate the workshop with confidence! Every resource with a green check-mark (✅) has been updated, everything with a red cross (❌) has not.
-----------------------------------------------------------
❗ ❗ Don't forget to join our small but growing international community on Discord! This is where we communicate, share the latest resources, and have working groups to develop the workshop further. ❗ ❗
International Discord Server
✅The Facilitation Guide – It’s still being finalised, but already full of tips, talking points, and key explanations to support you from start to finish.
Facilitation Guide
✅The Facilitation Prep Deck – a practical slide deck designed to help you confidently prepare for and effectively run the new version of the workshop. Think of it as a condensed version of the full Facilitation Guide, packed with tips and handy overviews of the card phase.
Facilitation Prep Deck
✅The Training Slides – The new training presentation has received a major visual update, and it includes all the workshop changes from intro to closure.
Training Slides
✅The Memo – A super handy tool that shows the card distribution per set and provides extra info on each card, including descriptions, related resources, and links to other cards (primary, secondary, and even "wrong" ones). We're still working on the link explanations and adding key resources.
The Memo
✅The Facilitation Support Slides – a practical PowerPoint presentation to use during your in-person workshop sessions. Download it as a template for your own sessions – find empty slides at the end of the deck to create your slides in the same style if you want. Find support for the slides in the Facilitation Guide!
Facilitation Support Slides
✅The Mural template – a helpful template to make online facilitation of the workshop possible. First, create an account or use the official shared 1er degré account (online facilitation guide), then open the template to create a duplicate. The template utilises the "outline" functionality (located in the top right corner) to display and hide elements within the Mural space.

❌How to use the platform: create an event, modify it…
These emails are also available on the platform, directly when you create a workshop.
If you speak a language that’s not yet available, you can help us bring the workshop to your community! Reach out to joy@1erdegre.earth and join the International Discord community. For specific questions regarding the current version (V8) of the workshop (cards, links, distribution, etc) ask them in the dedicated facilitation support channel on Discord, or directly reach out to the initiators (Elise & Joy van Breda).
Printing instructions:
For home printing, a simple A4 colour printer is all you need. Print the 4x4 file on both sides (mirrored over the short edge), and cut the sheets with a paper cutter (or scissors) along the cutting lines. 200 gr/m² paper is great, but you can go lower. You're ready to facilitate!
‼️ We are currently aligning the cards with the 2025 Planetary Health Check report ‼️
Version 8.1 introduces two updates: ocean acidification is now officially crossed (with a new caption), and the “Anoxic and
hypoxic areas” card has been simplified as requested – now titled “Low-oxygen zones” with an updated caption.
--> Find the two updated cards in multiple languages here: Professional print correction (1x1) & Home print correction (4x4).
